On the morning of March 14, the commissioning ceremony for the production base project of Suzhou Guangsi’ao Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd.—focused on high-end processes and automated equipment for the broader semiconductor manufacturing sector—was successfully held.

Founded in 2016, Suzhou Guangsi’ao Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service. The company primarily serves the emerging display, automotive electronics, and Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) sectors by providing process equipment, custom non-standard equipment, and hardware–software upgrade services. It has been recognized with numerous prestigious designations, including the national-level “Little Giant” for Specialized, Sophisticated, and Novel Enterprises and the Jiangsu Gazelle Enterprise award. The company also boasts several provincial- and city-level innovation platforms, such as the Yangtze River Delta National Technology Innovation Center–Joint Innovation Center and the Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center, as well as accolades like the China Emerging Display Industry Chain Outstanding Contribution Award, the DIC AWARD International Display Technology Innovation Equipment Grand Prize, and the designation of the first set of major equipment.

To further enhance its production capacity and R&D capabilities, Guangsi’ao commenced construction in February 2024 on a state-of-the-art manufacturing base for advanced processes and automated equipment in the broader semiconductor industry. Located west of Supai Road and north of Dongting River in Huangqiao Subdistrict, the project covers an area of 22.9 mu and boasts a total floor area exceeding 30,000 square meters. Upon commissioning, it will substantially bolster the company’s R&D and manufacturing capabilities in the high-end equipment sector, accelerate the localization of such equipment, and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the broader semiconductor industry.
