Recently, JingSheng Machinery & Electric Equipment Co., Ltd. hosted research visits from multiple institutions, during which the company disclosed details about its silicon carbide production capacity deployment and semiconductor equipment order status.

Jingsheng Meidian Machinery & Electronics highlighted that the company is actively expanding its silicon carbide production capacity, with a project in Shangyu aimed at producing 300,000 silicon carbide substrates annually. Additionally, leveraging the promising growth prospects and vast market potential of the global silicon carbide industry, the company has initiated an industrialization project in Penang, Malaysia, focusing on 8-inch silicon carbide substrates—further strengthening its ability to meet global market demands. Meanwhile, Jingsheng is also investing in Yinchuan to build a complementary crystal project capable of producing 600,000 8-inch silicon carbide substrate wafers per year, continuously enhancing the company’s technological and scale advantages in the silicon carbide substrate materials sector.

Meanwhile, JingSheng Machinery & Electric announced that its subsidiary, Zhejiang Jingrui SuperSiC, has successfully established a pilot production line for 12-inch silicon carbide substrates. This line covers the entire process flow—from crystal growth and slicing to thinning, chamfering, grinding, polishing, cleaning, and final inspection. Notably, all stages of the process rely entirely on domestically produced equipment and proprietary technologies. Among these, core processing tools such as high-precision thinning machines, chamfering machines, and double-sided precision grinders were developed in-house by the company after years of dedicated research and innovation, achieving performance metrics that are already leading within the industry. With the official commissioning of this pilot line, JingSheng Machinery & Electric has now established a complete closed-loop system for 12-inch SiC substrates—spanning from advanced equipment to cutting-edge materials. This breakthrough not only effectively addresses the critical "bottleneck" risks associated with key manufacturing technologies but also sets a new benchmark for cost efficiency and productivity in downstream industries.

Regarding semiconductor equipment orders, JingSheng Machinery & Electric stated that it is benefiting from the continued growth of the semiconductor industry and the accelerating pace of domestic production. As a result, the company's semiconductor business has maintained steady expansion. As of June 30, 2025, the company has outstanding contracts for integrated circuit and compound semiconductor equipment totaling over 3.7 billion yuan (including tax).
