With the rapid growth of mobile applications, artificial intelligence, and computing power, the logic process—key to future breakthroughs in computing and storage—is seeing its market size continue to expand. Meanwhile, as mid-to-high-end applications such as OLED and CIS keep expanding, demand for advanced specialty process technology products is steadily increasing. In response to these market trends, JHIC is accelerating the mass production of high-end products. In January 2026, construction was officially launched on the fourth phase of JHIC’s project, with a total investment of 35.5 billion yuan. The new factory will be located in Hefei Xinzheng, further leveraging the agglomeration effect of the existing industrial park and once again contributing to the enhancement of China’s semiconductor industry’s technological capabilities and supply-chain self-sufficiency.
The fourth-phase project of Jinghe Integrated will build a 12-inch wafer foundry production line with a capacity of 55,000 wafers per month. The line will support process technologies including 40nm and 28nm logic, CIS, and OLED, and its products will find wide applications in areas such as OLED display panels, AI-enabled mobile phones, AI-powered computers, smart vehicles, and artificial intelligence. In particular, in the field of logic process technology, Jinghe Integrated has already collaborated with customers to complete the development of multiple 28nm process platforms, which will accelerate the pace of domestic substitution and help meet the demands of the local market.
From mass production at one fab to full capacity at three fabs; from 150-nanometer technology to 28-nanometer technology; from holding the No. 1 market share in LCD chip foundry services to becoming the leader in shipments of security CIS chips—over the past decade, Jinghe has continued to grow and forge ahead with unwavering determination. Standing at a new starting point for boosting the self-sufficiency rate of domestically produced chips, Jinghe Integrated is accelerating the progress of its Phase IV project. Equipment and machinery will be moved in during the fourth quarter of 2026, marking the start of production. Full production capacity is expected to be reached by the end of 2028, aiming to meet the market’s demand for high-performance, high-quality wafer fabrication services and jointly build a stable and secure integrated circuit industry chain.
